  1. Funny, I was just thinking this of my son. They grow up so quickly - in the blink of an eye, really! Lovely children, and lovely photos!

  3. The day school went back was always a sad day for me and nothing changes when they are older - they are always going somewhere and as mothers we know our children are only on loan. xv

  7. Such beautiful photos Cathy. You have such beautiful children and you can see they are kind hearted just from their photos. I can feel your heart wrenching. My little one started Year One yesterday and big one is now in Year Six, the last year in the prep school before he heads up to middle school, next year. Little one was hyperventilating yesterday as he finally gets a desk and tidy box now in Year One. He told me goal this year was to always have his tidy box tidy. Such a sweet innocent little world he is in... its makes my heart burst. A-M xx

  8. I'm with Vicki Cathy...it doesn't change as they get older...the feeling you have when they're born stays just as intense as they go through their rites of passage...enjoy it all dear Friend...Ingrid xx

  9. I'm definitely the worst mother, I was only bragging today how good it was that my house will stay tidy between 9-3pm and I will see food again in the fridge! only kidding..sort of!
