Paris - where my heart is ....

Paris in January this year... Each morning when I woke in this beautiful city... the world was new.  No matter what was going on its sheer beauty and rhythm made you smile and I did cry when I left because for a family that doesn't have a lot of money these trips are beyond precious and realistically we may not go back again... We wanted to travel as a family be able to share these experiences with our hazel eyed ones...  Since our kids were little we knew that a big house or expensive car wasn't important we wanted to be able to share as much travel with them as we could.  Road trips for a couple of weeks every September holidays and then beach holidays most Christmases and looking back I wouldn't change anything.  We stayed in a lot of B & B's and experienced life how other people lived...  I still pinch myself that I have walked the champ de elysee, climbed the eiffel tower and had warm baguettes from the many patisseries that line the streets...
Travel is the only thing that you buy that makes you richer...
