Well over my Summer break I made the decision I needed to start going through my HUGE magazine collection and clipping them up and making some inspirational journals. I bought some black paged art journals so that the images would really stand out... Here is just a few pages to show you what I get inspired by... These pictures also inspire me in my designing as well as decorating my little cottage...

  2. Hi Cathy,
I stumbled across your blog from somewhere but I don't remember where! I love your decorating style! Keeping a journal of magazine clippings is something I've done for several years and it's really helpful ~ not to mention getting rid of stacks of magazines in the process! I've been using a white art book but the black makes your images pop! Looks great!

The images really stand out with the black pages! Lovely!

I've been tearing out and collecting inspiring pictures for years! They're all in plastic pockets in a packed ringbinder.

Since we movved back from the Middle East, I've thrown some of the old, musty, earthy cloured pictures away, to be replaced by interiors with lots of white...
