Well as we slowly try to track down things for the shop some are just sooooooo difficult to find and glass cloches are one of the things we really want and can't seem to find a wholesaler here in Australia....I so want to use them for display and for sale if I can.....Please if there is anyone out there in blogland that could help I would be so, so grateful.... All shapes and sizes would be wonderful lol.....Wish I lived in europe as they have so many over there - just gorgeous!!!!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend....Heading for very high temperatures here in Queensland and Summer is not quite over yet.....We so need rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peace comes from feelings of satisfaction when working with joy, living with hope, loving with abandonment...

  5. I wish I knew a wholesaler from Australia. They are plentiful here which mostly come from China unless you get the really good ones which are made in the US. It would be cost prohibitive to send them from here. You should make a request from one of your glass wholesalers and see what they say.
    Good Luck!

  11. Most garden supply shoppes should carry them.
Now the one that Christe's beautiful pieces are in I believe is the dome and base from an old anniversary clock and she has painted the base.(the newer clocks have plastic domes and bases so check the item first) They could be found at garage sales, auctions or Ebay.
Believe it or not Pyrex also produced some for awhile that were used in the chemistry lab, that's another stone yet unturned.
    Happy hunting Cathy.

  13. Hi Cathy,
    I think I can help!
I got most of my glass cloches from my favorite danish designer "House Doctor" Here is a link to their homepage: http://www.housedoctor.dk/Pages/dan/Forside.aspx
Have a look in there online pdf catalogue "Everyday" at page 74-75 there you'll find all their beautiful glass cloches.
Fingers crossed that they'll send their gorgeous items to Australia, but I'm almost sure they will, because you can click Australia as country when you want to apply as a seller!I can imagine you wanting to buy so much more from them than just the glass cloches ;-)
Warmest wishes from Boxwood Cottage in Germany sends you

  15. Cathy,
There must be a wholesaler over there in AU. Can you make it to the Reed Gift Fair in Sept in Sydney? If not, have you perused their website and exhibitor lists?
Hope you find some...they are so great, you are right.
